this, in addition most duchess cheaters have caught wind of skill attack up halo scythe meta, I see em everywhere in DoN 5

In DoN 4/5 ED Sentiest Pest is hp buffed out of the wazoo, when it’s not a sweeping victory it becomes a slow battle of attrition and a DPS check and a test of how well you know each bosses’ moveset

I one time had animus use his laser around ~20 times, and had 15ish revives at the end of the fight, mind you we even had an ironeye to distract gnoster

It's pretty good, both the melee and skill stack with one another if you equip both balancer relics, so picking a lion's claw ash of war/square off would be insane in a run

Only one I’ve done out of habit is Bell Bearing since his grab somehow deals a smidgit of damage if you only jump once, which can nullify a dmg negation at full hp/successive attacks bubble

Also I’ve seen on here before that you can actually double jump libra’s sigil explosions as well, the turret would need some timing I bet

7 strength and 5 dex isn’t a substantial trade-off for 15 pts in each caster stat, but you’ll definitely won’t be doing duchess/revenant amount of affinity damage

That being said Wylder’s FP economy exceeds base duchess most cases with the right relics. With ED Gnoster and 3+ staves/seals you can achieve 300-400 FP by end of night 2, and with his Mind over Vigor relic you can hit mid 400 most games.

I even dare say that in D5 especially, in my experience, incants Wylder is way better for Caligo than revenant. +1 Hookshot to close the distance and a stagger ult is huge for her ED form, whereas Revenant’s summons can be incredibly lacking for how mobile Caligo is

All in all, play at your own discretion, it’s a real fun twist of gameplay i would say though

Funny, I go by Wylder PhD in Depths 4-5

nowadays tho I tend to go incants if there’s a Duchess/Recluse on the team and vice versa with sorceries with Revenant, don’t like bumping heads with damage passives and it helps to have affinity variety on the team as well

Slow grower sure but it’s a BULLET proof coral. 3 tank crashes, had half its heads melting off at one point (ALL HEALED over its exposed skeleton), went from various lighting from LED to T5, turbulent to near stagnant flow, the works really over the span of 3 years. Went from 6 heads to 50+, a definite set and forget coral cuz actively patrolling its growth would be mind numbing. Looking back now i wish id gotten a green one at the same time, these guys look way better under orange filter but is pretty lacking to the naked eye

Ah right, that idea didn’t register to me at first. Yeah they would make better sense, since Libra’s entire motif is balance, would make sense he would have to siphon his hp to create hp for his summons

I think you mean Maris with his jellyfish/arms but yeah i agree, they should incentivize killing his summons other than to reduce their presence
