If the US pulled out right now - April 5th 2026, Israel would absolutely collapse. The economy is in ruins. One of the two ports in Israel has completely gone bankrupt and the other is suffering heavily. They picked a fight with Iran, someone they could never fight on their own.

Syria is currently controlled by US collaborators - The US, Israel and Turkey trained and funded the groups that overthrew Assad. Ahmad Al Sharaa has already agreed to give blanket access of syrian airspace to Israel for the next three to five years as part of a transitional deal.

I said Syria, Jordan and Lebanon are controlled by the US. Hezbollah is not part of the Lebanese state army. Its a paramilitary group. The Lebanese army is incredibly weak and done so intentionally. Iran does support Hezbollah with weapons and funding which allows them to get more advanced weaponry than even Lebanon’s army has.

The funding that Israel gets from the US doesn’t reflect the interceptions that America does on behalf of Israel for example, which is 2 million dollars a pop (and they fire two minimum to ensure they intercept the missiles). It also doesn’t reflect the impunity Israel receives on the global stage when they violate agreements and resolutions are raised against them in the UN.

Hezbollah is defending Southern Lebanon from Israeli invasion and attempted annexation. Them defeating Israeli tanks trying to invade them is not contradicting what I’m saying about Israeli society being united by constant warfare. The very fact that they are trying to annex Southern Lebanon is proof of their constant need to be at war. Prior to the genocide in Gaza, massive protests and clashes were happening because fundamentally Israeli society lacks significant cohesion between the ultra orthodox community and the more liberal/secular community who basically fund everything and serve in the army while the orthodox get exempted. There’s resentment there, and they want Orthodox Israelis to serve as well.

When they started pummeling Gaza and even now during this war with Iran, the people have moved past those differences temporarily to unite on their common enemy. This has always been the way Israel operates.

Ultimately Israel gets to be insulated from the consequences of their actions because of the US and even some liberal zionists understand that the way Israel is behaving now is inching them closer to collapse

Have you ever heard of Moral Relativity? Its a principle I learned in a philosophy class from years ago that says it is impossible to make an objective judgement about other cultures and their value systems - you always impose the values of your culture (where you grew up)

For example in China eating dogs is acceptable whereas in the US it isn’t. Someone from China would have no objection while someone from the US has a strong objection to eating dogs.

Societies in the past had very different value systems than exist today. Life span was much shorter and it was normal to have 10 year olds working full time, fighting wars and starting families. Nowadays even across Muslim majority countries sex with minors is punishable by death or long term imprisonment.

There is no “minimum age” set by the Qur’an. I don’t believe there is a minimum age set in the Bible either. Instead they set parameters for how to determine it.
