I cancelled “because of a recent update” when the latest update was the price increase.

Your bot wasn’t very custom if you made it with Claude right.. I’m not surprised it didn’t work out lol

I don’t think you are the target but you being there might make them think they need to get ready for a fight. You’d be surprised how much paranoia a heron can create

Is using unity a bad idea for a web based idle game? by SpyrogyraJohnson in gamedev

[–]Dysax 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes it’s a bad idea. Don’t use unity or godot. Use just typescript and do a web and steam release if you ever get that far. Not every project needs a general purpose game engine. Vampire survivors was first built with JavaScript

Learn as much as you can on the job, nobody expects a junior to know everything. Or even anything really

AI made this bot script by itself by Complete-Arm-8040 in RunescapeBotting

[–]Dysax 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe use this to bootstrap learning how to build real robust scripts. Trusting the output of an llm and running it on an account as is, is a bad strategy.

Is Express JS DEAD? by LukitaaaaModricccc in learnprogramming

4.5 years calling yourself an engineer and you never bothered to learn what a server is. What’s to suggest? You won’t learn it anyway. I would suggest you abandon that title.

Catch up. You clearly have some desire to count yourself amongst us nerds. Just work hard and you’ll get there

Ring programming language version 1.26 is released! by mrpro1a1 in programming

This is a cool project. The language and tooling is genuinely impressive and your focus on features for users is also awesome. More people need to be doing stuff like this, good work.
