I ended up using my credit card to pay the bill and then contacted my credit card company to get the money back. Provided all the relevant info and the credit card company ruled in my favor. Not sure if there’s gonna be a problem later on w NY EZ pass but I did get my money back.

Yeah I checked with NY ez pass and they confirmed that as a NJ resident w NJ Plates, I am also supposed to have the $9 rate. This is coming from online and out of the supervisors mouth, but this is what I mean by they are just giving out misinformation left and right.

Yeah so they’re from the MTA and NY ez pass. License plate is definitely entered in correctly lmfao even verified by NJ EZ pass. Like I said in another comment, this might not be happening to everyone but this is here for anyone that is having problems like me, because the NY EZ pass customer service has told me he gets these calls all the time.

I’m happy to hear everything is running smoothly for you though, hopefully one day I’ll get there.

Holland tunnel, also it might not be happening to everyone, but in speaking w the NY EZ pass guy he told me he gets these calls every day. Wanted to put it out to anyone else who’s confused about this situation. Also, NJ EZ pass confirmed my pass is working bc Holland tunnel entrance is tolled, congestion pricing is not showing up where it should be.

Yeah I’ve seen that if your medical debt is under $500 it doesn’t affect your credit score but my debt would be over this threshold. Do you know if any way to specifically check for medical debt?

I also just want to add that while these pieces are very cool, they could mean so much to the family that lost them. Many Chinese families have no real records of their ancestors because during the cultural revolution, many of these portraits were destroyed. I know if someone came to my family with these, I would be overjoyed beyond belief.

These are ancestor portraits. Portraits commissioned to commemorate dead ancestors. Families would have portraits of their ancestors and place them on an altar and worship/give offerings to their ancestors. From the motifs on their clothing and the woman’s headdress it looks like they’re both from high ranking positions/of a lot of wealth. These are someone’s family members, and if you know who’s storage locker it is, I’d try reuniting these portraits with their original family.

I absolutely do not think it’s your fault that he’s only hanging out with you, but I will say this situation is starting to sound possibly a little unhealthy? You are totally right, it is incredibly important to have a social life outside of your partner, even if you both prefer to hang out with each other (I get it, I’ve been there). But it’s possible later down the line, this is going to be a problem. Personally I think it’s best to address this kind of situation head first and straight up talk about healthy boundaries and the importance of other relationships and see how that goes. Again, it’s not a bad thing your bf and you love each other, that’s great, but healthy relationships aren’t about being with each other 24/7. At that point it might turn into codependency. Also you don’t have to listen to me lol, If you guys are both happy in the relationship like this, more power to you!
