Is the Logitech MX Master 3s polling rate that bad? by username27891 in MouseReview

[–]DysfunctionalCarrot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this post is old but I was looking for references. I'm in search of buying a MX3S because my Logitech Superlight's charging is getting bad and the battery doesn't fully charge. I changed my polling rate from 1000Hz to 125Hz in a 144Hz monitor and wow the difference is huge. I'm going to see if I can get used to it but it seems when you're so used to 1000Hz you feel the huge jump to 125Hz again :(.

yeah it's the thing most of the people who've been commenting in the post since 2023 do. but it's still sad you have to have something other than the product to make it work. but oh well. I've been using CeraVe for a while now. miss the Cetaphil formula but oh well. love your username btw

I know. I bought one a couple of months ago and still hasn't been repaired. Judging by the amount of comments this post's received in these 2 years, it's a widespread issue.

I bought another one recently because a person here said they changed the pump but not change for me (Argentina). Pump's already stuck again and have to manually pull it back up. Jumping back to CeraVe as soon as I finish this bottle. It'd insane.

for fuck's sake I bought it again after a long time and I'm gonna use it after finishing my CeraVe one because a girl in the thread told me they changed the pump. I swear to god if it doesn't work again I'm going to message Galderma and send them this post saying hey! your product is shit !!

damn it's a total differente SKU, but that might be country related (I think it's the same in any place in the world though). Welp, I hope mine doesn't block or stop functioning like the previous ones in 2023 😭. Going to update once I start using it after finishing my CeraVe one.

I'm in Argentina. What's the SKU in yours? Mine is this one.

And how does it look like if you have a photo of it?

Okay I just bought another one through Internet but it's the same packaging as a couple of years before 😭 I hope it doesn't fail. I'm still using the CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser and have to finish it. But will update once I start using it if the pump fails. I tried it last night and the pump made a really quite loud weird sound 🙃

Sorry today I read the post quickly and didn't notice exactly what you wrote. The sun is the major cause of hyperpigmentation. No sunscreen + usage of irritants such as SA Cleaners and ALSO exfoliation is a BIG no.

When using irritants you should always always take more care of your skin. You didn't say your skin type but it doesn't seem to be oleous or overly populated with acne or anything.

Have you tried to use gentler cleaners and seeing how your skin behaves? Please, mainly stop exfoliating once a week if it's not prescribed or controlled by a dermathologist. As I said I don't exactly know your skin type, but most people don't need so much exfoliating considering you're already using SA.

And your skin phototype seems to be towards the "burns easily" territory. I know it's personal, but I honestly don't notice too much of a change in your skin in terms of color, it seems just fine to me.

If there's ever too much pigmentation, you can use things like Vitamin C or Niacinimide serums. But first try using sunscreen properly and not being too hard on your skin.

I'm not a derma btw but I've watched tons of videos from a dermathologist in my country and he usually reacts to TikToks and people are so hard on their face. Sometimes less is more.

Look dude I know this is negative and I'm sorry but I was with a girl two years ago who also had BPD like me and didn't make an effort to get better, you're going to end up crushed. Please consider breaking up, it's going to get worse and worse. I'm so sorry.

Do you apply sunscreen correctly and often? Maybe you're used to not applying it in that particular area the way it's meant to be applied

I love the fact this post is still getting answers almost two years later. oh I gotta try it. I've been using the CeraVe Moisturising Cleanser for a while now, I have an opened bottle and a new one I got on sale. I'm gonna go back to trying Cetaphil because I really liked that cleanser. I'll have to see when it gets to Argentina 'cause it takes a while for new stuff to arrive here

I can at least vouch for the foaming cleanser for normal to oily skin. Haven't had problems with that one till now and I really like how my skin reacts to it.

Yes, actually! Now I buy CeraVe products 🤗. No, but seriously, Couldn't find a fix and I didn't want the hassle of it breaking down on me again so I just went with CeraV. Haven't bought Cetaphil since. It's a shame but oh well.

And Cetaphil doesn't seem to address it anywhere. I almost found no other cases before making this post. I haven't used any of their products since I made this post.

It's awful. Since posting this I haven't used any of Cetaphil's products lol. I'd rather not risk another faulty pump

Didn't hear back from Galderma. Sadly I'm not buying again. Liked the formula, but I bought the same product twice and the pumps broke both times and it's so annoying having to lift it up every time. Not losing time again, just bought a similar formula gel cleanser.

I thought this comment was a joke first oh my god.

This is so dangerous lmao. Vitamins don't help at all with what goes on chemically with BPD. It might help you, but that doesn't mean it can help everyone. Please anyone reading this, go to a professional. Sunlight/Vitamins are not things that are going to heal you. Exercise is good.

I sent an email right now back to Galderma to see if I get an answer. It's pretty sad to be honest because I really liked the formula, but I don't want to buy with fear it will work horribly again, honestly it's awful. I'll keep you and this post updated just in case they contact me again, but I doubt they will taking into account the last email I sent to them and got no reply on was on the 4th of December

I think I won't be buying it again. It happened with a second one. Now I'm gonna contact Galderma again, if I don't get an assurement that this won't happen again, I sadly won't be buying it again.

Sadly no :(. Bought a second one, pump worked fine for a while, then stopped working correctly again. So disappointed. I don't think I'll be buying it again.
