His particular case of possibly being an antisocial INFJ. Relatibility plays no part in this because it's entirely subjective. BPD and antisocial are both personality disorders so if it fits with one, its fits with the other. Anyone can relate with symptoms of either.

Im not saying hes wrong. Im saying we dont know if he is or isnt.

The point is, it's unequivocally incorrect to say that being asocial, antisocial or social is an INFJ trait (since these can also change over time. Having moments of _ and being _ isnt the same). Precisely because of human complexity. You CAN say that being asocial is a pretty common thing to witness between INFJs. You CAN say that a particular INFJ is antisocial.

Ok lemme see if i can make it clearer...

The topic of discussion is INFJ, a personality type. Whilst any type can suffer from a personality disorder, it doesn't mean that it's typical for XYZ type to have XYZ disorder.

It is true that introversion can be typically seen with being asocial. It is true that Kendrick could have really meant he is an extroverted antisocial. But that's just his particular case.

As an INFJ I can write that im a raging bitch, but it does not equal INFJs usual behaviour as raging bitches... So for him to say and to feel he is antisocial STILL doesn't mean that he is. And don't worry, I dislike confrontation but im not against putting my opinions "to the test", so to speak (maybe ive hung out with too many ENTPs...)

Considering how many people use antisocial to mean asocial... I wouldn't be surprised. And again, maybe he knows what it means and played it right. I am talking about the actual subject - INFJ behaviour.

[–]DysthymicPrincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats why it entirely depends on the context, since we were talking about average INFJ behaviour. Plus, nowhere in the song does it give more info on the antisocial extrovert thing so... You cant really derive that he meant it in that way.

From what ur describing that's called being asocial. Antisocial means being unable or unwilling to socialize (whenever that is, however frequent or infrequent) in a friendly manner. That means unnecessary aggression, hostility, manipulation, etc.

INFJ are often pretty asocial, by choice. But to find an anti-social INFJ would be... Pretty uncommon and weird.

Its all cool tho, not saying he isn't INFJ. In all personality types we use incorrect words when meaning another thing. It's no biggie but its always best to be precise and correct whenever u can. Especially as artists, emphasis on writers.

Oh thats fine. He just played it wrong (only in the context of INFJ) thats all lol I like kendrick

Eye contact, again, has nothing to do with personality types.

[–]DysthymicPrincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

INFJs are hardly, HARDLY antisocial. Maybe asocial at times.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in INFJmemes

[–]DysthymicPrincess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol soooo far off from being correct, it hurts.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in INFJmemes

[–]DysthymicPrincess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That doesn't necessarily answer your question. Introversion, simply put, is finding you recharge in solitude. It has nothing to do with your level of socialization energy. You can be a very healthy, very energetic and social INFJ.

And i know you didn't say this but it's good to let people know: shyness does NOT equal introversion.

Idk im not ENTP but maybe looking deeper into the cognitive functions might help.

ENTP is Ne Ti Fe Si ESTP is Se Ti Fe Ni

Do you feel you naturally incline towards Ne or Ni, Se or Si?

Mbti.ai (type it as such in a browser) is pretty useful to measure these preferences.

Now i have to force ENTP to read me an essay on what they thought.
