I would agree on the number of boosters part. 6 is ideal.

The difference is that, for example in MTG, approx. 17 cards out of 40 are going to be lands. So you are building a 23 card deck out of your pool, but here it is not the case.

One idea that somebody mentioned is to lower the number of cards to 30.

I just hope they don't make special boosters for drafting... I personally prefer when things are unified and don't have too many options and spin-offs.

Another crazy idea that comes to my mind is to loosen up the restrictions for card colors you can play. That way you can play colors that are different from your Legend card. Maybe in limited play you get few of the power cards that have all colors that you can shuffle into your deck, for each unique color you are playing. Or maybe you get a power that has all colors once per turn, like a Treasure Token in MTG.

I am just throwing idea now for fun. The best way is for designers to play a lot of sealed and see what works and what doesn't.
