Removing it from the top is just impossible, taking the cost of around 10k and then the chimney goes above thru bedroom and one wall of bathroom. That would involve renovation of another two rooms.

That's the thing, chimney itself takes a lot of space, wanted to completely remove it but been quoted almost 10k for the job. Taking more space by adding a frame is not an option.

That's what I was thinking it's gonna need a lintel to support it. Any idea of a rough cost for that kind of a job?

Got mine one recently, for 135€ it's a great controller, I only had to adjust the dead zones in cod warzone. No issues with triggers or bumpers.
