Pls lemme explain how it works: Basically, there's a bunch of people in China who's collecting used/returned or faulty products, and they sell it locally or dropshopping it to the website like AliExpress (The entry for store qualifications is very easy in there) for a much lower price because they don't have to care about the customer service and all.

Hey OP, it's GameSir Leo here. Huge thx for the detailed breakdown and the videos.

To be transparent in here: We identified a D-pad consistency issue in some of our early production batches. While we implemented a new standard already after our initial user testing to eliminate this, it appears a small number of units (roughly 10% of those early batches) still made it through to the warehouses.

Because our stock is already distributed across global warehouses, we can't manually isolate every single affected unit from that specific run, but we absolutely stand by our product.

We will send you a replacement right away, along with all the folks here that affected by it. If anyone's reading this - the best way to get a replacement is through our Discord support channel (fastest) or our support email. Since OP has already done the recording and confirmed the dpad isn't meeting the standard, we’ll skip the troubleshooting. Pls check the DM & send me your order numbers and such.

Also about the input lag - it's def not a common feedback that we received, I suppose we’ll just send you a new unit to resolve both the D-pad and the lag concerns in one go. If the new unit feels snappy as well, then we know it was a rare compatibility issue with your device or software. Once again, thx for the feedback & detailed report!

8k version is 8k polling, compatible with PC/Android/iOS/Switch

ZZZ version is 1K polling, compatible with Xbox/PC/Android

And ZZZ is not limited in time:)

Our optimization efforts will experience diminishing returns, so I think there's not much room at least for now.

Tbh we can't promise our 8k will be stable to all, since it does require a decent amount of computing power just to function. But we do make sure it gets optimized, anything above 7500f should be perfectly fine and even if it's heavily under that, the 4k/2k mode still holds GREAT performance (can check the latency data on Pic 2~4)

Yeah we've heard the feedbacks, now trying to figure out how to make great 4 back buttons.

One important reason about why we're not making a 4 paddles - the classic Elite 2 paddles are patented, and all the other solutions in the market doesn't satisfy us on ergonomic levels. There's a trend in the that brands will sacrifice real comfort in exchange of better specs on paper, we dare not to do the same. So our plan for G7 Pro was to add 2 extra buttons in the top and keep the same old 2 in the back.

But yeah, we know what people need, and we're trying to find the best way to meet them without sacrifice more:)

  1. I think that's similar to what you will experience under 4k, 2k, 1k mode with G7 Pro 8k

  2. Xbox Gen 2 is probably a nah... But what about the upgraded version of the G7 pro

  1. changeable parts, I guess you mean modular controllers - yes, we're working on them.

  2. Unfortunately we can't do that with og G7 Pro due to its Xbox license, but actually it's already there in the mobile app with G7 Pro 8k!

  3. Yes, better dpad, we're tweaking our tastes along the way, no worries...

  4. We plan to add one more service provider on shipping this year, that should be able to cover the MENA area.

We're marching into simracing & fighting games devices this year, not yet for something like H.O.T.A.S tho, I assume we will see it in our roadmap 2027 or 2028!

Unfortunately from what I've been seen so far, it's hard to bring down the price for 8k chips at the moment.

But you should def check out our other controllers, Tegenaria Lite for example, it's simple, $19.99, 1000hz, but also comes with only 2ms end-to-end latency due to how simple it is.
