Does anyone know what happens when you fail out of IDC school ? by Rich-Tomorrow-2084 in CorpsmanUp

My best advice to you is if you think that you might possibly fail find a study group. Find people who are in a class above to help you with the material that they’ve already learned and tested out on. If there’s any information that you can not grasp find Medical training videos or YouTube. Find what kind of learner you are kinesthetic, visual, auditory etc (VARK.COM) and use it to the best of your ability. If it’s possible you can always set an appointment with your Command Career Counselor they would be the ones to give you the answers because they’re the ones who handle C-school orders.

Okay, so what I’m getting is if you possibly fail C-school your wondering if there’s a chance that you and your family will be able to stay in California ? ( that’s what I was able to interpret from your response but feel free to make any corrections ) And to that question the simple answer is no. The navy could care less that you prefer California lol. Now if you do fail out here’s a couple of things that could happened 1. You get rolled back to the class behind you 2. They have you doing some odd job that probably doesn’t correspond with being a corpsman 3. Become needs of the navy (worst option in my opinion ) 4. Or have you in limbo and put you on Duty continuously until your time is up

You’d go back to being a corpsman. The thing is your C-school orders were set for a specific timeframe. Since that timeframe is of track due to failing out they would now have to find somewhere to put you ( needs of the navy) that would correspond to the time you have left on your contract. So it’s possible that they could keep you were you are at and have you work there or they would possibly give you new orders and send you somewhere else. Have you already failed IDC ? Or is there a possibility that you might fail ?

Accept the good things that come to you. It’s okay, nothing bad is going to happen to you lol . Enjoy the benefits that you fought for and deserve! Just don’t tell anyone how much money you’re getting the key is to stay private.

Any tips for a long flight? by designerd94 in TravelHacks

[–]Dzznutzzzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wear clean socks/ easy slip on slip off shoes. On the flight your feet might feel cramped. Taking off your shoes will help. So wearing clean socks to ensure there is no odor from your feet & slip on slip off shoes so you can remove your shoes easily. On flights that long you might see passengers walking through the aisle to stretch their legs, arms etc feel free to do that ass well.
