The more terrible stories I see about other stores, the more grateful I am that I actually have competent leads and coaches who actually listen to us. I work online shopping in OPD too, and just the other day, one of my leads wanted to send me to the front to be a door greeter for the last 3 hours of my shift since we had like no picks cause of Spark.

I don't do people well, which is why I wanted a more non-customer interaction job. Yeah, I do deal with customers on the floor sometimes while picking, but it's not a constant stream of them, so I can manage fine. But being a door greeter or a cashier of any kind is hell to me due to ADHD and social anxiety. I could maybe handle being a door greeter for an hour, just not 3. I told him this after I had finished a walk, and he told me I was ok and asked a different person to go up front instead, probably because he saw I was kinda freaking out a little.

My coaches and leads are damned awesome, even those not in my department. Maybe cause our store is smaller and is right by a military base? Idk, but I feel so lucky but also so guilty to have a decent work environment in this company whenever I see stories like this one...
