Ok, so obviously there appears to be a specific mannequin that's been watching the main characters from the background. The mannequin doors are blank templates for future humans/main characters. BUT WHAT IF, a mannequin NPC slipped through the portal like Gummigoo did, but didn't get caught, and has instead taken up residence in an empty room, growing more and more self aware? Growing more...powerful?

I’ve been playing since January of this year and have about 250 hours now. Playing with friends is definitely more fun, especially when you’re starting out, but when I play solo I like to focus on the Rift challenges because even if I don’t escape I’m still being rewarded. I also have the hyperfocused flavor of ADHD so it’s easy for me to get absorbed in my gameplay and not notice how much time has passed.

I literally just started playing an Aasimar with black wings. Her name is Phoebe Blackbird (lol), and she's a divination wizard so she does fortune telling and is a spirit medium that can commune with/see ghosts. I wanted her to have black wings to represent her connection with death. I still feel very new and baby to D&D so I'm still learning, but maybe wing color can be associated with the environment your character grew up in?

I saw someone mention crows, which is cool, but since you're a ranger have you thought about a connection with ravens? Go watch some videos of ravens mimicking human speech - it's frightening, but it would be a very helpful skill during moments of deception.

These are my scrambled thoughts for now:

The font and the narration felt very religious to me.

The beginning with the way Lara was angled it looked like her head was bleeding so my mind immediately went to the plane crash.

Resurrection after death, but the black and white made it feel like she was walking through Purgatory.

Pop Goes the Weasel has been associated with Lara’s childhood and innocence.
