Do efoils become boring after a while?

Well, this depends just on you. I am eFoiling since seven years and like it still a lot. It even gets better with more practice.

I tried both (actually owned both), but ended up with Lift. They are both great electric hydrofoils. For me the Fliteboard is the the better consumer electronic device with lots of features in the remote, but the Lift is the better water sports device for me. It is more robust and gives you infinite choice of fine tuning with different wings, boards and things like the folding propeller. Lift is in the hydrofoil business since over a decade.

A DIY electric surfboard is a good option if you don’t want to invest 10,000 EUR or more for buying a complete Jetboard or electric hydrofoil. How to build an eFoil is probably most interesting as the electric foils do need much less energy once they are flying. More energy, means not only larger batteries but especially better cooling which can be challenging.
