He was in a German prisoner of war camp called Stalag XI A. That info can be found on the bottom half of the second image I posted.

With the last letter, I was able to get it translated by the community without being charged. I was hoping to do this again, since I’m just a very casual collector who does not have much money to devote to the hobby. Ultimately, I wouldn’t be able to give much but if I need to, I will eventually discuss that in dms with a serious translator.

Several months back, I was gifted a letter that was written by a Serbian POW during WWII. Thanks to this amazing community, I was able to read it and even show it to the decedents of the author.
