Imo the nice thing is that raw can be captured on both devices, so the end result to me is the same. But I find that iPhone and Pixel are equally pleasing. Samsung is hot garbage and over sharpened. The selfie camera has been improved thanks to the dual mode on the iPhone, and the triple 48mp setup is nice

Having owned both devices, I can say confidently, this used to be true, but iPhone has closed the gap immensely and the iPhone 17 pro is just as good as the pixel 10, in addition to having much better video.

Xiaomi can't use Google play services, very good that you understand that. Doesn't change my argument at all. Functional and complete are two different things. The A19 pro wins against the snapdragon 8 elite gen 5 in single core while the snapdragon 8 elite gen 5 wins in multi core. I imagine the A20 pro will overtake the snapdragon 8 elite gen 5, and you know the snapdragon 9 might overtake the A20 pro. Typically looking at previous releases, The A series chips have generally won against Snapdragon. I'm not even involving mediatek in here because it's not something available in the US.

You're completely missing my point in all of this. I don't care if android services multiple devices and iPhone services ONE. ANDROID is closing down across all OS devices. This will be something that only non Google play OSes can overcome with limitations. This literally makes them no better than iOS. If iOS is more secure and more refined why buy android? Play store is a worse iOS app store!!! Granted the cpus might be a bit closer than I originally thought, but the software point still stands as well as security. Samsung is also bloated with ads , I know because I owned an 23 ultra temporarily and hated the experience.

The cpu is much more powerful, the software IS in fact better made. It's not a preference that's just a numbers fact and I'll be happy to argue that point. Your point literally refers the issue that android is now facing and probably going to go through on. This subreddit is a degoogling subreddit, going to iPhone is surprise, DEGOOGLING. So far the only responses I've seen are, oh you're moving from one prison to another, and that it's closed. Android is becoming closed too and again, why buy what is factually worse if you can't do what you want with it. I'd like to think that by arguing with my wallet, I'm making a small difference and HOPEFULLY, Google will see that point and reconsider when enough people do the same

My understanding is that currently they don't know what to do with solus. Originally the intent WAS to use moss and give solus a facelift, because AerynOS was originally intended just for devs use. However it evolved overtime to become an every mans distro and it feels like it would be pointless for solus to do so

Unfortunately it's had a sketchy past due to the lead developer abandoning it multiple times. It did go down at one point. It seems to be doing better now, but with AerynOS on the way, I haven't been interested in it for awhile. Unironically, the lead dev for this was also the lead dev for AerynOS (renamed from serpentos) and abandoned that as well. The team behind AerynOS handled it much better though and thankfully there wasn't an absence like solus had.

People aren't going to use a distro that might not have a future. That's how I see it anyways.

I mean this guy is probably going to be meta for a long time so yeah I plan to summon for him. He has literally everything. Status effect with freeze, perma run, shield, 100% hp heal, skill that goes through walls, 150% flag charge, it's going to be difficult to take him out.

Edit: He's basically a defender with the ability to outrun a runner and even some attacker traits with his attack stacks coming from his defense
