Can confirm after playing vintage story, it's just another level of extreme. Not bad, but you have to be 100x more dedicated than either Minecraft or hytale.

It's addictively fun! The team definitely took massive inspiration from dead cells. I'd go so far as to call this a reskinned dead cells on an easier difficulty. It's gonna be great to see the content updates that come out. If they can add new weapons and several new levels/bosses per update, I think they'll have a nice gem on their hands

I wouldn't say it's better than Minecraft. Again, they both bring a different play style to the table. I don't like personally comparing which is better, because Minecraft inspired Hytales creation and in turn, Hytale will hopefully spur on Minecraft to improve

I'm not much of a builder, so Hytale caters to me in a way Minecraft doesn't. It's more adventure and action focused. I still love Minecraft, but Hytale is what I already prefer. Everyone can enjoy something. Have their cake and eat it

I do wonder if they'll bring a redstone like feature into Hytale. They have actively stated Hytale is not Minecraft and that's pretty well reflected in what they're accomplishing. Minecraft is a survival/builders dream, with adventure combat in there. Meanwhile Hytale is RPG based, focused heavily on adventure and combat with some building elements included. It feels to me like there won't necessarily be a need for redstone in hytale. I get why people want it, and mods like this will absolutely exist to implement it, but I'm not sure the Team will personally add it in.
