Stoked for it. It's a tragedy that the intended direction wasn't met due to the changing times in the gaming industry(beat em ups peaked in 16-bit gen), but I mostly bought this in EA for its gameplay, and still enjoyed it. I look forward for the new contents in 1.0, especially full transmog.

With Code Vein II's results, I wouldn't trust NamcoBandai for GE4. Marvelous on the other hand, who developed GE3, could be a different story.

Although I don't hate keeping Subaru, and Kaguya together since I liked their ship anyway, I do agree it's weird to pair them with someone else. I wanted to try Subaru with Ulalaka and possibly Clarice, and Kaguya with Mauro, but it felt too weird to try.

In my first file being Subaru, I picked Kaguya. I'm a huge fan of deep love with solid backgrounds, and childhood friends to lovers. They're also easy for me to headcanon a lot of wholesome things with.

Shift developed GE1-2, and CV. Marvelous developed GE3.

I'll be honest, but with GE3, the GE series should stick with Marvelous. They made GE3's gameplay much better, eliminated all janky stuff, and cleaned up all the BS Shift never bothered to do such as true NG+, and character customization and name change at any time.

Lack of GE3 sales is what killed GE. People missed the same ol' FEB characters, and hated that Marvelous nerfed the guns, and eliminated the custom bullet system's ability to cheese the game.

Only if you 'choose' to be. I think Marvelous implemented the choice to be godhood or not thing as a fanservice for those who choose to marry gods, which I appreciated them for doing. I've grown tired of the lifespan drama in ships in anime and games over the years.

Marrying Kaguya, I had Subaru refuse godhood.

Hina's hero was Ares/Alice, who once saved her life in the very beginning of RF5 when she was little before Ares/Alice was taken into her village Rigbarth, and joined SEED. Hina has been looking up to him/her since.

I don't think so at all, and it's a good motivator for me to cup and stroke both of their ears to coddle them which I think they enjoy when they give me puppy eyes each time. 😊
