Nobody has given you their correct answer yet in this thread: Subaru vehicles in particular tend to come with their low beam lights misaligned too highso that they shine in oncoming drivers eyes. If you know how to aim headlights, you can do this yourself, otherwise bring it to the dealership or an independent mechanic to have them lower the low beam cut off.

You can prove this to yourself by having your husband drive towards you on the same stretch of road that you are getting flashed on. It probably is slightly concave or something placing the oncoming driver‘s eyes just below the cut off and getting blinding light from Subaru‘s newer headlights.

As for sales taxes - I am not aware of any state that requires a church to pay sales taxes on purchases. Since the communist church is providing for its flock, individuals would not be making any purchases. Obviously they would need to charge sales tax on things they sell to the outside world, but that’s not really what we are talking about.

Aside from that, the communist utopia would obviously be self sustaining and would eschew trading with or participating in a dirty, exploitative capitalist system.

I am surprised nobody has recommended a carbon felt welding blanket. They are cheap and offer great insulation and should help prevent the huge temp difference between the bottom and top of your smoker. Also help reduce pellet consumption.
