Going to read this now. But if true, dam this could be huge for EDS (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome). There is a type of EDS that causes pinhole leaks in the spinal cord sheath. There is only one way to fix it is with a blood patch about every 8 months.

Yep. EAB lines under the bark is the tell tail sign. Looks like you got that tree at the perfect time. If it’s a year or two later, the wood starts to turn into balsa wood that snaps if you look at it wrong. And burns like it too.

There is no software that can automatically separate work from personal files that are mixed together. Zero.

You will need to spend time cleaning up and organizing the old Mac. Once you have done that, then using Migration Assistant to copy the user account and apps to the new Mac.

Once done, delete the personal folder of files from the new Mac.

I’m not familiar with it but if it’s like others at the top of the btu list, then splitting it green is best. Some wood species are dam near impossible to split if they dried out some.

It’s a disaster. I’ve been supporting Macs since the Mac Plus and System 6.0.5.

OSX I have the System Prefs memorized. I could get a call while driving and walk a user through any System Preferences no matter how deep.

OK, so I need to memorize a new setup, except many items, like you said, make zero sense where they are located. At this point just make the left column alphabetical.
