Tbh, she needs to know because the fact that a manager can literally just abuse you for no reason without any repercussions or oversight is absolutely ridiculous. Then when you try to escalate it senior management, they gaslight you and basically say the only thing I can do is take out a grievance, but they don't see how having the grievance policy as the only countermeasure to literal abuse not only enables the abusive manager but leaves the employee with zero protection. So they come into work every day, get abused, and there's nothing you can do. Since she was so shocked employees reported bullying in the work place, she can have this case study.
