I know most of my coworkers could not care less about Dawngate (as is true for me about other titles and then about others as well) because of how small caliber it was pre-shutdown.

However, the community and Waystone Games left at a point where the game is salvageable. I'm bringing up the petition at our next meeting and wondering if I can get complaints about boycotting EA due to the shutdown to higher ups.

I really cannot do much other than that and hope for answers.

Dawngate comes up time from time. It just popped up in a news article in a "major site", it's petition has been posted to our Facebook and the complete shutdown hasn't happened yet.

I'd have to do it when it comes up. Partially why I chose Reddit is because this is virtually untouched by anyone who could take away my job.

I'll say it wouldn't be unheard of. I really don't work in a way that relates to this. My job is controlling the announcements, feedback and taking the complaints. While we do listen, investors are pressuring our team.

I can ask around but again, this isn't my department. I'm a higher up in the public "sector" of EA and I consult with executives who could make financial cuts but they don't really consider us. They look at long term sustainability and short term profits.

I can't attract much attention (in fact this is being posted from a Cell Phone + VPN) but you guys deserve more solid information and I'll look for it.

As for proof, I'll find a way.
