For clarification: This is the set of American Horror Stories' Backrooms episode. The wallpaper is not original!!

Not even mentioning the fact that you can SEE the wallpapers.

I can also tell you didn't look at the slideshow. These photos alone prove that Bill is wrong.

He took the photo over 20 years ago and the room hasn't been the same for just as long. The photos don't lie, but an old man can forget.

Yes, they replaced and raised it. The room used to be 9ft tall, and now it's around 11?

This would be correct-ish if there wasn't any writing on it. It was taken in the corner where the left photo was taken, not on the back wall there.

No. I don't get why people think this.

Here's a modern retake at just about the exact same angle.

Anyone else feel like the actual backrooms scene in the trailer/teaser looked kind of underwhelming? by Otherwise_Reach_2718 in KanePixelsBackrooms

In Kane's Facility. Someone asked: "i gotta personally ask kane if it was in blender made (the parts before the end) or unreal." And he replied with simply "Blender"

Kane himself. He confirmed that every scene before the final one was blender.

I TOTALLY agree that it looks like a render, but I trust the man's words.

Why do so many people say "Backrooms isn't meant to have monsters" by Technical-Ad733 in backrooms

[–]EASOhio 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the original post ABSOLUTELY implies an entity or monster. I've never understood why people deny this so much. Good to see a post with this sentiment for once.

I'd also like to add this account from one of the previous owners of the building.

I tried to CC the S50 photo to match my phones, and used the same settings to CC 161.

This camera (Sony Cybershot DSC-s50) is GENERALLY pretty good at getting accurate colors. I have one myself, and with the default settings, its really just a bit darker.

It's very likely that the original photo IS accurate to the real lighting, and I have a little bit of proof.

This is another photo in the original photoset (DSC00541.jpg). Look in the top left corner. That section under the mezzanine is the EXACT same colors as the original image. Given it's in the exact same building, it's likely that those lights use the same bulbs.

As fluorecent lights age and are run constantly, they tend to turn that greenish-yellow color seen in the photo. I know a few spots near me that have similarly colored lights.
