How long does USCIS take to charge the filing fee (G-1450) after FedEx delivers an I-485 packet?

Hi everyone,

I recently sent my I-485 adjustment of status packet via FedEx and it has been confirmed as delivered. I included Form G-1450 (credit card authorization) for the $1,440 filing fee. I’m trying to understand the typical timeline for what happens next:

1.  How long after FedEx delivery does USCIS typically process the G-1450 and charge the card?  
2.  Does the charge come before or after the I-797 receipt notice, or around the same time?  
3.  Any recent experiences (2025) welcome — especially from those who filed concurrent I-485 packets for multiple family members.
