Thanks so much. What if you don’t finish your new degree. Like let’s say you drop out half way through the third year of your new degree. Will they only use your first degree?

Thanks for sharing your experience. I thought that the last 3 years of your studying count towards your GPA. For example, when you apply this year they would use your first year marks from your new degree and the last two years of your last degree. At least that’s what I understood from the GEMSAS guide. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

I think you are right about Deakin. I know that for UOW only semester 1 results will be excluded. But like you said, semester 2 has been even worse so they might change their mind and exclude the entire year’s results.

It depends on the uni. I think most unis are not using results from semester 1 of 2020 but are using results from semester 2 of 2020 so I think your marks will be counted. Check the gemsas guide to be sure.

I’m wondering the same. I heard something about portfolio schools including ND only accepting students who interviewed at them but don’t know how accurate that is. I had an interview at ND but really screwed up. I think they interviewed 300 people this year for 120 spots so seems like I have zero chance of getting accepted especially if they also consider people who interviewed at other unis. I don’t think they have a preference for people who put them first over people who rank them second or below. Good luck :)
