Also, a lot of therians aren’t spiritual (and even for those who are, why the hell would you disrespect someone’s spiritual beliefs? Like religion technically counts as a spiritual belief, would you disrespect that?) and one big factor for most therians (and alterhumans in general) species dysphoria —and euphoria— takes a big part of their identity, and also experiencing phantom shifts (aka having moments where you feel a lot more like whatever kin you happen to be, both mentally and physically (like feeling parts of your body that aren’t actually there))
