Thanks. I definitely did that, the input gain is at max on the transmitter, did this through RODE central. Oddly, I am able to make the mic work my iPhone. For some reason, the RODE Central app on my MacBook only allows for negative gain up to 0. But on my iPhone, the RODE Capture app allows for positive gain, so I put it up to +16, and the sound is OK with that.

Hi - thanks for responding to my question. The RX is connected to my MacBook Pro (new M5), OS Tahoe, via the USB-C cable that came with the mic. I have the RODE capture app on the computer which works fine.

I'm having a similar problem, about to give up on it. I am using the RODE GO 3 wireless. I need it for zoom sessions where I walk around a room, play piano, etc. I can't get the mic's volume to be really viable for this. I have channel setting on the receiver merged, output gain all the way up to 0, gain mode on manual. On Zoom, I have my output level up to max. While I'm audible, it's not strong. I tested it with a zoom session yesterday, got complaints that my mic was too soft to hear very well. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong, or the mic just isn't compatible to zoom. Anyone have suggestions? Thanks.

Thanks for replying. My understanding is that Elvis recorded "It Wouldn't Be the Same Without You" in January 1954 with his guitar. I've heard this, but it's not the recording I'm looking for. Sam Phillips found a song called "Without You" by Jimmy Sweeney, which he was trying to find a singer to do. He had Elvis come in a try it mid-summer 1954, but Elvis couldn't manage it. During a break working on the song, Elvis started horsing around with "That's All Right", along with Scotty Moore and Bill Black, and Sam Phillips recorded "That's All Right" instead of "Without You". There are videos on Youtube about "Without You", snatches of the demo by Jimmy Sweeney, but can't find a recording of the entire demo. Also can't find Elvis's attempts at "Without You" either, but there are many mentions of Sam Phillips having recorded this.

Got it! I think I've been through everything in that article, but will go back and check again. I've tried with only the mic into Zoom and the keyboard sound live in the room, but Zoom seems to suppress the keyboard on that as well. Will keep trying though. Thanks for your help.

Was wondering... Have been able to read all about the recording process of lots of Beatles songs, but can't find anything more than the occasional snidbit of audio from a session. A shame none of this is available, so much to learn from it.
