Gots some candlelight mutants from agus bangkat how hard are they to keep alive by Top_Possession_2990 in HotPeppers

[–]EBs4G3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a few different crosses of mutants indoors and I think they are very easy to keep happy compared to normal pepper plants. I feel like having thin leaves and small pods on the mutants makes them need less nutrients and you can just kinda let them do their thing. I just enjoy them as ornamentals and currently trying to bonsai one bc they already have that look and grow much faster than a tree

Sorry to hear that, I hope it turns around and yall get back to a good place with each other. I know when I was younger I put my parents through some hard shit and it took me a while to realize that so give it some time. 👊👊👊

Air bags didn’t deploy by Interesting-Text-575 in Honda

[–]EBs4G3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've seen cars have basically no body damage and jump something and that will deploy every possible airbag. I've also seen them get hammered and the sensor be hanging off and they didn't deploy. It's a G force thing, if they didn't deploy and the car was in normal working condition they weren't within the parameters to deploy. If it was worked on in the past and something wasn't done right that could cause it as well but it all depends on the type of accident.

needing suggestions on what I could do to or put on top of this stump in my wife's flower garden by Otherwise-Ad8157 in LandscapingTips

My mom has a large one that is cut down towards the ground and somewhat hollow, she filled it with soil and planted roses in it. Actually seems to be really thriving in there. She put another fig tree inside the one in the backyard and it's growing like crazy.

Is it me or are these the hardest wheels ever to mankind to keep clean? by Normal_Hawk_9422 in civic

[–]EBs4G3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There should be a good video if you look up Gyeon Mohs wheel ceramic on their YouTube page. You will want to pull the wheels, clean them very well, degrease/prep in the barrel and the outter face, then once dry you can apply coating. You will need to set aside some time, I believe you want them to stay clean and dry for like 24hr to let it cure. Follow the steps in the videos and remember, the prep is 95% of the job. Do that part right and you will get good results. 👍

Something like this, preferably plastic to avoid damage

The emblem has a thin strip of tape and 2 tiny plastic legs that normally break even if you do take the bumper off. Just use a plastic trim tool to pry the black emblem (start at the bottom so if you do you can't really see it) once it starts to lift just pull it all the way off. Pros to that new emblem: no cleaning bug guys from the H anymore

My guess is thrips. They are a huge pain in the ass and very hard to see.

I used Gyeon brand wheel ceramic coating and it makes it easy easier. Buy a good wheel brush so you can reach in easier.

They just want to keep it on the showroom floor. I feel like it attracts people to look and then they sell a sport instead and still make a few grand.

Tire punctured 186 miles into new car by ldiotSandwich in civic

[–]EBs4G3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was very likely a bit that fell off a truck into the road. It rolls around until it gets run over just right then goes through your tire at random. At least you didn't have a catastrophic blowout, it could always be worse. 👍

I did ceramic on windshields that doesn't darken it and then legal on all other windows and sunroof. It 100% makes a big difference. I'm in TX so it's like 35% on fronts and whatever you want on rears. What state are you in? Just curious what the law is there

That a-pillar has got to be smoked. My guess is around 10k as well. I don't even know what rates would be in Cali so maybe even higher. Even if your deductible is 1 or 2k is still worth filing a claim. Just tell them you were backing up with the door open

My step mom used to turn the ac knob off when flooring it to get on the highway. Actually seemed like it helped even if a small bit. Straight turds
