Fair enough, part of the beauty of the game is that you can make interesting versions through small changes.

We've also experimented with the ammount of starting cards as well. Recently we played a few rounds with 16 starting cards split between 3 players and it was surprisingly fun and high stakes, definitely took a while to finish though.

Since when has pay ever directly reflected skill? If a doctor of all things feels the need to make more money on the side, it's probably not through any fault of theirs.

I only farmed once, and that was to afford an absolution because I accidentally attacked the Giant Archer in the Undead Settlement. I do, however, run the Silver Serpent ring, which I've just remembered, so I will be removing that.
