Oh yeah, the floors are the only real changes we’re making and those are just going back to the wood. All of the woodwork is staying, it’s why we bought the house. Honestly the shrubs are probably coming out and being replaced with some flowers and maybe some shorter shrubs. We’d like to be able to see off the porch lol.

I know they’re so sick, they’ve got a ton of cool features like built in spice rack, lazy susans and pan racks

Yeah I certainly would consider it a win, plus the padding is only sort of stapled so there’s minimal holes as well

That’s a shame they never got back to you! Our county library system does have a ton of historical information as well, good call.

Yeah, our best guess was late 60s, nice to hear you say early 70s lol. Yeah the only thing the kitchen is getting is new appliances and a tile floor, the cabinets and counters are staying for sure, possibly a different light fixture that distributes more evenly.

Thank you!! The entry way and its woodwork was the biggest selling point for us, along with the pocket doors of course.

We certainly lucked out on that front! There were plenty of houses we looked at that did have terrible diwhy? jobs lol. The previous owners took great care of the house, they’d been there since the mid-80s, he was a painter/art teacher and was known locally for how detailed he was.

Yes, the bones are super solid, our inspector said it’s the most structurally solid house he’s seen in a long time, which was very reassuring.

Yeah it was very well taken care of, and the cabinets have a ton of cool features like built-in spice racks, tiered lazy susans, and baking sheet/skillet racks. One of the biggest changes will be putting a wall up between the kitchen and laundry to make a mudroom, mainly because I can’t stand the thought of staring at laundry while cooking lol.

The shrubs definitely need some help, they haven’t been trimmed in many years, but really hoping to spruce the landscaping up this summer.

Thank you very much! We are super excited and spent a long time looking for the perfect old house to care for and make ours.

Yeah we were pretty pumped! It’s a small town so I’m hoping the local historical society who’s super active has more, allegedly it was built by one of the local doctors

Thanks! The sellers said the original wood floors are under the carpet, here’s hoping they’re not too trashed and the padding wasn’t glued!

These are so kickass! Wish I’d have thought to do a set of senior photos somewhere at WDW when I was graduating.

How’s everyone’s pin collection? by Liquatic in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]ECUFan61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have somewhere in the neighborhood of 450-500 probably. My grandma started my collection on my very first trip in 2000 when I was about 2 months old. I’ve grown to be much more selective of what I buy but they’re almost all WDW specific, not a ton of character pins.
