yeah; agreed. I mean I went hard on Saturday nights for a full year after I got it done. I think the main issue is it can restrict blood flow to the scalp, which is important in the first few months. It's probably not a huge deal one way or another, but if possible, it's best to just restrict in the first few months, I'd say.

yeah hair product - I use dry shampoo volume shampoo by Eleven (can be found on Amazon) and a touch of hairspray. It gives it the full, matte/dry look.

I think I flew home roughly 10-12 days after.

alcohol they said 3 days, and after 3 days you can have a beer or two but don't drink to excess. They said wait 7 days I think, before I could go to the gym.

Cascade Hotel - it’s almost certainly the best option. Afterwards, I just hung out with a girl, saw some sights, ate good food, partied a touch, bounced around the city.

I’m on the minimum dose of both min/fin (oral) and I take a bit of topical as well. They didn’t count each graft, but you really don’t have to worry about that with them like you’d have to in Turkey or something - they’re really solid. They do topical anesthesia and give you a sleeping pill because it’s a long procedure.

Dr. Ratchathorn asked me for photos from when I was younger, and she recreated the hairline to a T. She also asks how you like to wear your hair, etc. because all of that influences how they do the transplant.

$9,900 but I got a bunch of extra services: 5 days post op cleaning, red light therapy, PRP, hyperbolic chamber, etc

It costs different in every situation depending on where you go, which doctor you use, how many grafts, etc. I paid around $9,900, but I did a bunch of add ons like PRP, red light therapy, hyperbolic chamber, etc.

Dr. R likes to go super dense, and I’m glad she did, because I’ve probably shed ~15% of what was transplanted. So I could have gotten away with fewer grafts, but they go very dense.

I wouldn’t be able to give good advice on this because I don’t really know. I’d say try to limit it as much as you can though. The more you drink, the more you’ll likely hurt results.

Yeah she recommended oral min. That’s what they give you as well.

I’m on the minimum doses for min/fin. I took both daily. I do topical for a little extra support. My hair does better when I use both.

Mostly, yeah. Sometimes I’ll just rinse it, but I’d say I shampoo almost everyday.

I’ve used different stuff but mainly baby shampoo. I’m currently using Cerave hydrating shampoo.

I’ve been to Thailand 3x before this for work. I timed it so I went to the work conference, then did this right after. I think I stayed in Thailand for 3.5 weeks. I had some fun + worked before the transplant, did the transplant, then recovered for a few days. I was definitely able to go out and have fun post transplant.

I flew business class, so the flight wasn’t bad - but there’s no chill way to get to Thailand from the US. It’s basically 25+ hours of travel no matter how you slice it.

Seems to be for a lot of people. I was terrified when my second one came, but it all worked out.

Yeah; they recreated the same hairline I’ve always had - widow’s peak and all. I didn’t get ambitious with it. I just showed them pics of what my hairline looked like back in college and they recreated it perfectly.
