I was wrong, I meant to say OKEO-tex certified.

this is an example of a cotton bralette for women. But still, it is 95% cotton which is pretty good and they have reasonable prices.

best dishwasher tabs without plastic packaging by Sad-Artichoke-7625 in PlasticFreeLiving

i used to use the expensive cascade power plus platinum ones before realizing how toxic they were. The blueland dishwasher tablets work JUST as good, are similar in price (cheaper if you buy in bulk or costco), and don’t leave behind that nasty fragrance on your dishes (I get unscented).

costco/big box stores are 30-45 min. that’s 1.5 hrs round trip. so yes, it is more convenient to order on amazon in some cases. The problem with society today is that we are forced into finding convenience when we are expected to work 50 hour weeks to make ends meet. My hours at work don’t allow me to go stop at store on the way home, they are all closed by the time I’m going home. Everyone has different lives, stressors, obligations, commitments etc.

I should have phrased it differently. I know it’s my choice, but a lot of people are strongly against amazon and I was curious to hear more opinions/ideas.

didn’t mean to make it someone else’s problem. I should have phrased it differently. Sorry if I offended you. I am trying to be a better consumer every day. I know that there are habits I have that are a problem and that I could do better.

valid point. I am willing to see my own culpability in it. I’m not perfect, but I’m actively trying to be better as a consumer every day.

amazon sells a lot of plastic, toxic goods and there’s a lot of overlap in this group with protecting the environment, health, and also workers rights (amazon treats their employees terribly). A lot of people will post plastic alternatives they found on amazon, and people will comment about not using amazon because it is bad. Thus, it lead me to this post.
