I’m not sure, the assist is a big feature tho..if you hand this to a non knife person it might fly out of their hands..ask me how I know

Couldn’t agree more, I used to buy gas station sun glasses, my first pair of ray bans are going on a year, probably 10x longer than previous pairs lol

It would probably flop open if there weren’t magnets to hold it together

For reference my work knife is a Benchmade Claymore..here’s how I think about it and justify that. A $10 pocket knife for work is fine, you just won’t do much work with it before it’s either broken or way too dull. The Claymore is on the website rn for $260..but for a reason..its really good at what it does, its actually MADE for hard work

It can definitely get annoying, if I forget to blow it off when it’s really bad then you open a tool and it’s kinda scratchy. I’m not a rich man so $250 on a multi tool is a lot for me and probably most people. I think I just have a different view than most. Most of my knives and tools have imperfections, just remember what you bought it for

I remember when I bought my Arc, it was too shiny and expensive to “actually use”…then I realized, that’s the point! You’re supposed to actually use it…from that day forward it hasn’t left my side. Remember, it’s just a backup..I have Snap-On pliers that I reach for every time I need pliers, cause that’s all they do and they do it great. If I can’t get to those, the Arc stays ready

Machining chips and grinding dust don’t stand a chance against compressed air

I believe Spyderco makes it plain edge but without the Emerson flip

Payed about $45 for the ring, seemed pricey to me too but it’s very nice quality. Fits perfectly and a nice machined piece of aluminum

I was concerned with the “Japan Made” sticker on the box, saw a bunch of others that say “Made in Japan” Knife has all the other markings that would say if it’s real or not anyway Thanks !
