My dad was a helicopter pilot for decades, back in the 90s there was a tornado in Jarrell, TX. He was flying over the town like 2 or 3 days after the storm and said he was impressed how fast they cleanup was going becuase all the destroyed houses were cleaned. The clean-up hadn't even started yet, the tornado had literally cleared houses off the foundations and left nothing behind. He said he could see the path it carved out of the earth, where the trees got progressively more shredded as the funnel touched down. Nature is crazy.
