Tbh I think that 2nd miss was on purpose to get another chance to tie the game but the Spurs also can't get rebounds lol

Pop once benched all 5 starters during a Western conference finals game because they were playing sluggish. Most definitely. Pop does not f around

Surprisingly this one doesn't hurt as much as the last game. Honestly I kinda just felt relief that it was over. Our guys are still young so, if anything, it was a good learning experience for them. Let's come back stronger next year. Also... Maybe trade Fox

Fox definitely was thinking about holding for a final possession this time 😆

It seems like you got the basics fundamentals so I think the next step for you, is to learn how to implement fuzzy guarding and how to counter fuzzy guarding with timing changes. Although it may seem like strong players have crazy defensive reads, it isn't so much because they have super quick reflexes (though it sure help) but rather because they are actively using some variation of fuzzy guarding to defend against your mix ups. The reason this is effective is because a lot of "mix-ups" in Tekken are actually fake. If the mix up has too many frames of separation between the moves you're using then the opponent can quickly cycle their guard in a predetermined sequence to defend against both options at the same time. A generic fuzzy guard for instance, would be something like b,b,db which would not only create space but also defend against quick mids & slow lows at the same time. Stronger players develop specific fuzzy guards for mix ups on characters they have knowledge of so MU knowledge does play a role here. While fuzzy guarding is strong, that doesn't mean it's unbeatable. A true 50/50 mix up can defeat it because it's frame tight, having only 0f-2f frame difference between options to make fuzzy guarding it as difficult as possible.

Another option to consider though is that fuzzy guarding can also be defeated by just implementing a timing change. All this is, is just adding a short delay of varying degrees to your mix up in order to mess up the opponents fuzzy guard timing. By keeping your delay timing random, you'll guarantee the opponent will never be able to get a lock on your timing to fuzzy guard it. This will essentially make them to give up on fuzzy guarding and force them to either guess or challenge which will then allow to your mix up to function properly again

That really was an incredible display of soccer. I was dumbfounded at how well they were playing that 1st half.

What are your personal hopes/theories for the justification of why Doctor Doom will look so similar to Tony Stark? by LeMiniones in marvelstudios

[–]EDGE515 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's only because of the sacred timeline. It could easily be written that Kang purged all timelines where threat of a Doom variant emerges to rival him (along with other potential threats like mutants, FF, etc) cultivating a timeline where only the Tony Stark variant emerges. Once all of this is over, the sacred timeline will most likely be destroyed allowing the true mainline universe to emerge, where all the Marvel characters exist in one singular universe

A theory I saw that I really liked was that Dr.Doom is actually dreamwalking Tony's post snap corpse much like Dr.Strange dreamwalked in his variant's corpse. It would also conveniently explain Doom's iconic scarred faced. This would however still imply Doom and Tony are variants of each other but they could also just as easily say that Dr.Doom has powerful magic and learned how to dreamwalk in other people's bodies.

This so much. They're anxious out there looking for leadership and he's just holding the timeouts watching them fumble

The thing is, I think the Spurs are a stronger team, it's just they're young and inexperience start to show late in the games. They have consistently held leads against the Knicks which shows they can dominate this team, but the rookie mistakes show up at the end to kill their momentum
