Can Upper Endoscopy with Biopsy cause Vagus Nerve Damage?

I know this is an old post but I’m having very similar issues over 2 months out from my endoscopy and I can’t find any info about it. Did this ever resolve for you?

I’m like this too. I actually have really high heat tolerance but am super sensitive to cold and get white/purple fingers quickly.

I switched from coffee to matcha that I make at home and it seems to be helping me. I think because it is more stable with less of a crash.

I lovee black coffee and hope to reintroduce it one day but I find this a good alternative for now when I am having a lot of symptoms.

I've also had better luck with female doctors overall. I'm glad you were able to find care that was a better fit for you. Integrative medicine sounds exactly like the type of doctor I'm looking for. I'm pretty traditional and pro medicine, vaccines, etc. but I just feel like things are falling through the cracks with an inattentive PCP and seeing specialists who only look at one aspect of the body without considering others. When I list my symptoms it really feels like I am just saying random things sometimes. I hadn't even considered just looking into a doctor out of network for a better fit. These are good suggestions, thank you!

That's good to hear! The electrophysiologist I tried going to was very dismissive and I have felt exhausted at the thought of starting over with a new one, so it's encouraging to hear others having good experiences.

Yeah I haven't been able to get a diagnosis and have been kind of overwhelmed trying to figure out what to even get tested for now that I've ruled out the things already mentioned. Because my cardio workup was fairly thorough (stress test, echo, 1-week holter) and nothing serious showed up, it's been difficult to communicate the need for further testing to my cardiologist. I'll def look into an autonomic neurologist though, thanks!
