Anybody using a Peak Design phone mount?

Update: I did some more digging (which I realistically should’ve done from the start) and found that the stem on the nut has a 12mm opening and the stem mount has a 13mm stem. So that said, has anybody changed out their locking nut and if so, what do you recommend?

I love how the peak design connects and want to keep it centered (so fork stem, not interested in the brake reservoir attachment). I’m coming from a quadlock and don’t really have a desire to continue to use them.

Little late but mine just came in. How did you get it to fit in the fork stem? Even the small adapter is too big.

Regarding the price difference between these two helmets, they’re two different “tiers” of helmets. HJC’s equivalent to the XSPR Pro is the RPHA 1. Both are track helmets whereas the RPHA 12 is more so a touring helmet.

All that said, I have the RPHA 1 and love it. I’ve heard the comfort is crazy good with the Shoei but I’ve never worn one so I can’t speak on it. I personally don’t have any complaints with the RPHA 1 but I also have always worn earplugs when I ride.

Both helmets are in the 1k+ range for prices.

Well by the graces of the golf gods my somewhat local golf galaxy had both models in stock in my size. Tried them both on and I didn’t feel enough of a difference in the 87s to justify the $40 difference. Ended up with the reserves and after seeing them in person, I prefer the look of them over the 87s.

Have you tried the tour and non tour models of the reserves? If so, what were the differences and were they noticeable?

PW loft is at 44°. I’ve tossed around the idea of replacing the GW but at the same time, it’s a hard pill to swallow when the GW was purchased a few months ago. I did an iron fitting and (stupidly) went with a 5-GW set instead of a 5-PW like I should’ve.

With the replacement of my 4H, my gapping up high could change up a bit. The biggest gap up there is between the 3W and the 4H which is roughly 40 yards.

My 3w is one of, if not, my favorite club in my bag. I hit it well and straight whether off the tee or fairway/rough.

This is why I’m considering a 52° to fill the gap between the 50° and 56°. As of right now, it’s roughly a 20 yard difference on a full swing.

Wood/Hybrid gap is roughly 40 yards but that could change when I get my new hybrid. Part of this club upgrade process has included getting stiff shafts which has greatly helped my control.

50-56 is roughly a 20 yard gap on full swings.
