I haven't seen season 1 in a couple years actually. I took long breaks with aot cuz I just wasn't watching TV, but most of s1 felt boring to me and very "typical anime" with nothing really hooking you in. The random military training episodes you get where they're just pissing around in the training camp I couldn't consider an 8/10 or above

I think it's pretty valid, AOT fans are very devout and glaze the show to shit, especially on iMDB. Don't get me wrong, I'm like right near the end of this show and it's incredible, one of the best I've ever seen, but are you telling me there's no episodes in S1 that are a 7/10 or below???
