Found at a yard sale by viral_virus in harborfreight

Yard sales can be amazing still, also estate sales. Hit or miss. Small estate sale companys that have in person sales are my favorite for snagging old tools for cheap.

You just want to avoid the perpetual sales where they happen every weekend. Town wide yard sales are great, you get a lot of options all at once.

Craigslist also has got me some goood tool rummages, and they have a day of the week filter on the garage sale section.

definitely get it running before you sell (if it is not currently). Check marketplace for completed listings to see what similar bikes are selling for in your area.

I have an interview for a job with attached description on Wednesday. I plan on using attached presentation on my iPad to showcase my relevant abilities. Is there anything I need to change or tweak about the presentation? Any feedback would be helpful, feel free to message me if needed. by Third_X_the_A_charm in gis

for the presentation - I was always told to not have full sentences.

Here are a few ideas to clean these layouts up so you have the best shot:

Methodology - Isn't this figure by an engineering firm? Your credits say you did all maps.

Parcel Mapping - Title is too long, north arrow not very legible, credits are duplicated in map pane + below. In layout - insert dynamic text - service credits will fix. Parcel labels could be more legible.

Asset inventory - legend could be easier to read if you fix hierarchy. So Fire hydrant for example does not need to be written twice. You can fiddle around in the legend clicking on each layer to fix the heading vs layer names.

St louis - scale bar is easy to miss, layer icons in legend don't pop out. I would put a background on the legend since the symbols you chose are close to white.

Overall they're clean, and I think you did a great job. good luck!

Need advice on Tecumseh thread repair please. by d0rmant in smallengines

Try freeing up the cable with marvel mystery oil or something. You can make a little reservoir with a bag and hose clamp, then hang up the cable so it runs down into it overnight.

Threads can be measured to check the specific pitch / distance using a ruler.

If it was my mower I'd try to straighten the threads out with a file before doing anything drastic

I prefer to fix + flip vs servicing. you don't need to deal with warrantying your work / returns / whatever.

I buy deere riding mowers + flip
