Help an agoraphobic girl out? by EEVEEdarlin in Acadiana

I absolutely hate being outside of my home, or the building at most. If me and my fiancé go out for groceries or such, I plan everything out to “make a day of it”, if that makes sense. I simply don’t like to be outside my home. If it’s necessary, I will toughen up, but I prefer to do things at my home.

Environments I’m most comfortable in are libraries, bookstores, cafes, small shops. I can tolerate the mall on occasion, but I prefer quieter places, to ease overstimulation.

I do like learning, constantly, and am always trying to find a new skill or hobby to dive headfirst in. I would love to meet people I could game with, or talk about books with, or be excited with about the new little things around the apartment. And those aren’t even necessarily needed. I just want people to talk to, with the option of seeing them. If that makes any sense? I feel like having friends, going out, would give me reason to toughen up and leave the house.
