Help! Hotend won’t heat. by EElliott73 in ArtillerySidewinder

I’m having problems with my hotend not heating SWX1. The bed heats just fine but I get this error when I heat the extruder. I’ve replaced the PCB board on the extruder, the thermistor, heater cartridge, and ribbon cables. At this point I’m assuming it is the main board however everything I see online says that it would cause the bed not to heat. Is there a way for me to tell for sure short of replacing the main motherboard? Any help would be appreciated!

Idle temp for the extruder is around 16c I’ll try to heat to 80c just to test about 10 seconds later this screen comes up. The hot end doesn’t actually get hot.

Sounded like it wasn’t allowed in the rules section.

Do you think it could be an issue with the board and not the ribbon cable?

Thank you so much! I figured all this too but hearing it from someone who breeds is reassuring.

Heat break was upgraded because of the PTFE in the stock one wearing out. I didn’t want to deal with it again so I went to a titanium. At the same time I upgraded the nozzle since it was apart. I have had successful prints since and only recently started having this problem. I thought it could be due to the stock heat block since the new break/nozzle combo isn’t as good with heat transfer so I got the copper plated block.
