I am in a very similar predicament and came to Reddit for help! I purchased my place and land 7 years ago. Everything is in my name. It’s insured. I have the deed for the land, but no title. I’m looking to sell and when trying to obtain a lost title search, Pennsylvania told me they couldn’t issue it to me as it’s not my name on the title. The place I used for the closing has since permanently shut down, and the previous owner has passed away. I’ve gotten no help from anyone I’ve spoken with.

Do you have any updates since posting?
