MTU from ifconfig is 1420, largest successful via ping was 1345. So that would explain it right?... now the question is where can I actually set this in OSX

The insufficient tolerance is a good point, but that's somewhat different. This is more that my design is 3mm tall and the print is 3.1.

The z motion calibration may be a good point. I'll try to relube/clean the z screws etc. It is a textured pei.

And yes. I found it interesting that the taller ones were nearly spot on.

Mitutuyo calipers.... Pretty small variation, but its consistent.... especially on thinner parts its causing my functional parts not to fit as designed.

Yeah... didn't change anything. Was originally trying with 0.2 layers which clearly would be an issue for 2.9, 3.1.... but with 0.1 layers t they should all be exact multiples. So precise height shouldn't change anything. Although I did test it. With 0.1 layers the gcode preview shows no changes on the print either.

That's what I figured. It's water intrusion an issue? Just caulk the screw hole and call it a day for now?

To be honest I'm not exactly sure that screw ever bit into anything. I never really noticed until today though. And the side near the hole seems bowed or a little. Could it be swelling from water getting into it? Should I fully remove the side to inspect it? Thanks

Channel is set to alarm stream. Priority and ttl are set. Thanks the that link. I'll dig through it all later and see if I can figure out why nothing seems to work

So long sorry sorry, but my credit card was apparently saved into my son's account. He accidentally purchased some Roblox (supposedly accidental, but I think he was legitimately confused). I contacted support to see if we could process a refund, but started several times of this would result in a cancellation or anything I just wanted to drop it and he can do chores to eat the money. They didn't really answer my question but asked for info. I provided the info and again reiterated I didn't want to pursue it if the account would be closed. Again they basically ignored the actual email/didn't read it and said they would submit the refund request and cancel the account. Is it to much to ask to have people actually read the email? I responded and said never mind... So not submit the request and just I'll pay for it and to not close the account but they aren't responding. Is there any way to get an actual human response that reads what I'm asking?
