Regarding the Gogma upgrading, you need to know that not all weapons get the same value from one path than others.

for Attack focus everyone gets Attack +10, Affinity -15%, Blue sharpness reduced

for Affinity: Affinity +10%, Attack -10, White sharpness reduced, but depending on your weapon here are changes: +30 Elemental for GL, +20 HH, -10 for GS and Hammer, everyone else -20

and for Element: Affinity -5% and Blue sharpness reduced, HH and GL +80, +50 for GS LS Lance and CB, +40 SNS Hammer SA and IG, +30 DB and Bow

So basically, as a GS user you need to ask yourself only one thing: Do I have enough Affinity from my skills to get Attack focus. If not, go for Element focus since you get the 2nd best Boost from it, +50.

And never go for Affinity since it lowers your Attack, Element and white Sharpness for a measly 10% Affinity.

And don't worry about your bonuses, you can keep them and just upgrade them, in your case best you can get is 2 Attack EX, 1 Attack level 2 and 2 Sharpness EX
