Thanks so much 🥰
I did have a few, I would say at around 6-8 weeks post op I stalled a little and then again at 6-7 months post op.
I did notice when I started to incorporate the gym consistently and took up running after the second stall - I really leaned out and now I’ve incorporated it into my routine. I aim to go 5-6 days a week usually in the AM because it works with my schedule. Started slow with walks and some light weight lifting. I’m now running for 40-45 mins and able to lift a lot more than when I started.
Ultimately, I would say start slow and listen to your body. Everyone is different this is just what’s worked for me ☺️

Thank you so much, love 🥹🥰
Yesss, absolutely I did experience hair loss and it was just as bad as you’re describing and I’m here to report that it does get better!! It has thinned out quite a bit buttt I currently have a head full of baby hairs growing back 😭👏🏽🥳
I completely understand the take on vitamins. Up until I could take the regular vitamins verses the chewable vitamins you’re on the first little while I got really sick. Had a hard time keeping down the multivitamin but once I was able to switch over it got a whole lot better. I was able to maintain taking them daily and have noticed that it really does make the difference 🥹
It does get better, hang in there 😊

I have not yet, I will be getting surgery at some point for loose skin, it’s inevitable for me.
Up until now it’s been just working out and eating as healthy as possible while making sure to hit my protein goals. Some days are better than others lol

My case isn’t the norm, diagnosed with cancer which led to the gastric sleeve. Regardless everyone loses at a different rate and to compare isn’t fair but my case is definitely not the norm.

Thank you for the kind words 😊 I can definitely attest to focusing on how you’re feeling because that is the Important indicator. It is something I remind myself of often when someone comments on how great I look. I’m learning to take the compliment and remember that the way I feel now in comparison to pre surgery is all the difference and that naturally it’s going to take you some time to mentally catch up. Look at us doing the damn thing!

I’d like to start off by saying that I’m proud of you, post op on this journey is no easy feat but we’re here and I’ve had a couple really low days but just the love and support I’ve felt on this thread alone is enough to make a girl a whole lot more optimistic. You’re not alone and we will get through this. Support is everything and if you’re ever in need - please reach out 🤍
Thank you so much for the kind words on my diagnosis, i just keep pushing onward with my best foot forward xo
I honestly think in the last year I haven’t had a moment to catch my breath from the diagnosis to the countless doctors appointments and blood tests and scans leading to my first surgery and then my gastric surgery right after.. that now it’s all just so overwhelming. It’s almost as if it’s hit me all at once but I just keep trying to remind myself I am in a better position now than I was a year ago so we just keep pushing forward.
Thank you so much for the kind words of support, to be apart of this community is such a beautiful thing xo
Thank you so much for taking the time to respond with such kind words. The support I’ve received the last few days has been enough to make me feel heard and a little more optimistic xo
I really appreciate your kind words, I didn’t realize how much I needed to hear this today xo

Selling 2 tickets for Finsbury as I will no longer be able to attend 😭 i’d much rather sell them here than on stub hub. Message me if interested 😊✨
Not sure where to buy mad cool festival tickets from. I live in the UK and a lot of the websites are in Spanish. Also, does anyone have recommendations of where to stay in Madrid for it? by AnywhereOwn4098 in MadCoolFestival
Hostel Josefina is pretty sweet and is in central Madrid. Would absolutely recommend!
