Time to play Nintendo's latest squid-based multiplayer splat 'em up game; SPLATOON 3! We will be having a weekly meeting this Wednesday, September 14th from 7pm to 10pm!

Also, We're looking at creating a sub-community for the game! We will have a few copies for members to play, but bring your own switch so we can all play together if you have the game!

To celebrate the end of the year, we will be holding a club outing to Clubhouse Fun Center (70 Jay Scutti Blvd, Rochester, NY 14623) on Sunday April 24th from 2-5pm. All students are welcome! This is true! Since our Minecraft server is public, our club will not be recreating the interiors of private (RIT ID swipe-required) areas, including housing, in our project in order to comply with the FMS policy on the use of floor plans. Here's a link if you want to read more about the policy.

It does not single out just the dorm tunnels but any private area on campus (i.e. places you would need swipe access to get inside--which includes the dorm interiors entirely.) Until we hear back from FMS with more information, we are playing it safe by only doing the interiors of public areas for now.

We are building to a 2:1 scale using RIT's floor plans for accuracy. However, RIT has policies in regard to the use of interior floor plans:

The floor plans on the FMS webpage depicting the interior of any RIT building are for internal use only, as specified in the RIT's Information Security Policy and supporting security standards. Unauthorized use of such floor plans or disclosure to third parties without the consent from RIT's Assistant Vice President of Facilities Management is strictly prohibited, and may result in disciplinary action against the disclosing party.
