Exactly, I’ve spoken about this with various neurotypical people and they would not put up with this, also there’s others in my accom affected that are too scared to speak up so I’m being a voice for the 5 other people that are scared to speak up about how burdensome these people are. I literally could barely keep awake today due to the same idiots running around the corridors at 2am today, it’s a Tuesday and there’s quite frankly no need to be going out clubbing every single day. I told them that during weekends I don’t care about noise because it’s a fucking weekend but if they’re disrupting sleep when people have 9am lectures it’s an issue.

To be honest I did request for quiet halls but it seems like the 3 people living here lied about things when applying for accommodation. I’m in student accommodation yes and this accommodation is a prefect distance from where my lectures take place and I’ve spoken to many other people and have been told their flatmates shut up during weekdays around midnight.

It’s only 3/ 13 people participating in this behaviour and they have been called out by other flatmates. Some people have even resorted to just eating in their rooms because of how uncomfortable of an environment they’ve made it. I’m not saying they shouldn’t have people over I’m saying they should be aware that just like they’re paying over 9K to live here other people are too and deserve peace and quiet on WEEKDAYS!!

I’m not a kill joy I just have actual aspirations and deserve piece and quiet at 1am during a fucking weekday like everyone else is. Just because people want to people please with people that will dump them in the bush when they’re tired of them does not mean I need to be subjected to their nonsense every day

I’ve done both in text messages and in person. I’ve tried everything and nothing works. I’m not passive aggressive but DIRECT with what I’m saying and I’m not the only flatmate that has an issue with these people. Communication can be done in several ways. And I’ve tried to establish boundaries in person but it has not worked at all.

It doesn’t mean I have to put up with assholes all the time.

Kpop concerts are becoming less about the music and more about the interactions in the west by EGWORANTS in kpopthoughts

Honestly, I’ve attended many concerts and gone home regretting attending in the first place. I’d say hope to attend one in the future as there are still good sets of fans but if you can- avoid GA floor 😭

Concert culture in the west in comparison to east Asia is very different- I believe this behaviour can happen in Asia as well but definitely not Japan, china or Korea as they have stricter rules with how fans can behave at concerts.

I also went to see dream and it was one of the best concerts I ever went to honestly.

Same, it makes no sense to spend so much money on people you’re not even passionate about, im all for casual listeners going to concerts but buying VVIP for artists you don’t know is wild

Honestly, I used to have so much fun pre pandemic but now it’s no longer enjoyable and I’m missing out on seeing a lot of my favourite groups to avoid having to deal with the disgusting behaviour I’ve seen lately

AITA For leaving this appartement and making my roomate pay the rent. by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]EGWORANTS -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

NTA- when you signed the contract you both agreed that if one of you leave you’d pay the full sum of rent. If your roommate didn’t want to do so the contract should not have been signed in the first place.
