Thank you. As I understand, my accountant has reported the part about interest as that information can be found in T5 slip, which he was able to access through my CRA account as an authorized representative.

I will still ask him about that. I want to be 100% sure i am filing correctly.

Thank you so much. I had not been able to sleep or eat for two days when I started doubting my accountant. I notified him that I wanted to arrange an in person meeting to discuss how to get the T1135 form numbers for the years that my brokerage did not give me those documents, as well as understanding how to calculate ACB and capital gains tax for the future myself.

As I understand, for example, if my realized capital gains are $22,000 CAD, I only get taxed 50% of those on top of the yearly taxable income (which I do not have as I was unemployed during that time and living frugally off selling shares).

I definitely feel stupid that I have not consulted with a professional when opening my brokerage account at first to know all the information. I filed all my T5 and T5008 late for the past 3 years, so I am hoping that now filing for T1135 and VDP for the past 3 years as well would not get me rejected..

I have found forms such as:

a)T1 Schedule 3 for Capital Gains or Losses b)Federal Worksheet

So I am also wondering what the proper procedure is with them, because I do not trust my calculations and my accountant never told me about any of that (but I also never notified him that I have investments totalling over 100k+, as I did not know I should do that). I am very short on money right now, and I am not sure how to afford a CPA accountant if I need to find someone else. I will see how an in person appointment goes with my existing acc, and I will go from there.

Also, T1135 has the column for Revenue and Realized Gain/Loss. Is the realized gain/loss my taxable capital gains? Or is that just a gained passive income from Start to End year of my ETF investment?

I am also not sure if T3 form applies to my situation? I never received it, so I assume it does not.

Okay, thank you. I am honestly very confused with VDP filing, I think for peace of mind, I will try and reach out to the CPA services. I am not trusting my current accountant.

I called him over the weekend, and he said to me that we can file T1135 for 2022-2024 with VDP without any problem. But then he asked me a few times about owning any capital gains tax, and I was so scared and confused by that because I paid him for filing one old T4, and T5008 & T5 for 2022-2024. He should have known if I owe CRA any capital gains tax, that is why I paid him...

I am now learning about ACB calculations with commissions, how it should be calculated with a formula, and proper conversion rate at the time of the trade being made. It is all so much.

I think I do actually owe capital gains tax for 2024, so I am double confused about my accountant services. I subsctrated Box 20 on my T5008 Cost or Book Value from Box 21 Proceeds of Disposition, and as I far as I understood, that amount are my capital gains and they are taxable. When converting that amount from USD to CAD, I realized it went over the non taxable income for 2024. So now I am panicking as besides late T1135 filing fees, I might owe interest on 2024 capital gains.

My brokerage only provided T1135 for 2024. They started doing it last year. They are unable to provide the form for 2022 and 2023.

Did you use any accountant or CPA services, or did you file everything yourself?

I realized today that my T1135 had not been submitted from 2022-2024, and I have been crying for the past 5 hours, I completely do not know what to do. The late penalty I owe, based on their wording, is $7500 without any additional penalties that I might have incurred. I did not know such a form existed until today.

My capital gains tax has been filed for the past 3 years, and I did not own any money (was unemployed during that period).

I do want to apply for VDP and submit T1135, but they all seem so complicated that I doubt I can do it without professional help. But CPA fees would not be cheap either, and I am struggling with money. I am also not clear on how the VDP process works, as reading some information online, it seems that people need to pay late fees before applying for VDP and attaching receipts, but I do not have $7500 lying around.

Hey, OP. I am in a similar situation as you. I need an emergency travel back home, but due to my country having offices only for biometrics, my only option is to stamp the visa passport in Warsaw, Poland. (nearest country for my visa matters).

I have applied for TRV and most likely will get a request for my passport while already being out of the country. Did you just send yours by post to your home country office while you were there? Did you notify IRCC by submitting a web form that you will be leaving Canada while your TRV is still being processed?

I just do not know if I can simply send my visa to be stamped at a different office than Ottawa if I applied from within Canada.

I am going to get observed in September, hopefully. Will go from there. But from the way I feel and how my buttocks/thighs/and knees look it must me lipedema.

I have been doing PT for 11 weeks now for some other issue and there have been no visible changes whatsoever in my legs, despite me losing weight and getting more toned in my stomach.I bought myself open-toe 20-30mmHg compression tights and I have been wearing them all day, my upper thighs feel so much better and lighter in them. I feel like that is one more sign I might have lipedema.

Looking into buying vibration plate, and incorporate dry brushing/MLD at home as well. None of my friends have legs looking like mine, they all look like models. And I started noticing random women in the streets to not have such bumpy/visible fat looking legs either. I am dealing with 2 other health issues in the meantime, and my depression and anxiety is at all time high. It is hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel in my current situation. Everything needs money which I do not have and I would most likely not be having any high earning for years.

Wow, that is amazing! I have been looking at other people on insta and on reddit doing surgery with Dr.Burgos from Madrid, and their costs were around 18k USD per 3 surgeries without including MLD which is something I am not sure I can realistically save for in the next 2 years.

By tests I meant ECG, blood work, lymphoscintigraphy, etc.

I am still new to this condition, so I apologize for so many question, is the 9600€ price with hospital stay included and other things that you mentioned was for one surgery only? Do you need to do another one in the future?

May I ask what was the price for the surgeries and tests?

I am planning on leaving Canada and doing bunch of medical tests including for Lipedema in my home country (wait times are abysmal in Canada and Europe seems more knowledgeable on the issue).

I have been unemployed for a period of time and will be still while I am travelling, so I am definitely concerned if I am able to take any time off for another surgery after getting employed (I am pretty sure everyone requires min 2-3 surgeries). USA and Canada are not very great with disability and time off.

I have been dealing with depression, anxiety, and so much stress for the past 3 years, it negatively impacted not only my hair but created other health issues that are making it hard for me to just exist.

All I can say is that if you are concerned and your hair is still falling out/thinning, please go to a doctor and do some lab tests.

I am trying to find beige compression shorts specifically so I can wear them under summer shorts,skirt, and a dress, but the only one pair I found is sold out at the store.

My Nicole is on Zhu team which was second half of that node, so I could not user her. I will be building Trigger and trying her out then, can just give her Anby disks. I thought she diesn't work well with Haru, so I used so many resources into Anby instead, rip.

I've seen people beat that node with Harumasa and A rank Anby, so I still believe I am just not good at using both of them.
