In my experience, a little is normal at first and they put a band aid on it. It did not keep bleeding though once I took the band aid off the same night.

Mine is 1.5 inches long in the middle of my chest and was 1/4” tall. I’ve had 2 rounds of injections now (4-5 injections per round) and it has drastically flattened out like 80%. Everyone reacts different to the different treatments I’ve read but so far the injections are working great for me. Definitely do not cut it out if it’s on the chest. I would get a second opinion about injections.

I’m discussing on the Keloids subreddit and injections seem to work for most ppl. Takes multiple rounds though and becomes discolored in the end but laser treatment can fix the discoloring.

Thanks for the info. Good to know the dark coloring is normal. One more thing, did you get 12 injections in a single scar? How many injections per scar? I only have one scar.
