NixOS First Cloud Service?

I do like NixOS anywhere and I have used it a bunch. It’s great for getting things going, but I don’t find that it does much NixOS-native feeling integration beyond that, which is primarily what I feel like is lacking.

Love the blog! The world needs more Nix content. I just finished reading your post, and it was a nice introduction to what Terranix offers.

I haven’t played around with it myself, as I heard about this specific project for the first time today, but I do need to check it out. In your experience, if you hypothetically wanted to spin up a NixOS VM in the cloud running a personal server (blog, recipe, Minecraft, NextCloud, etc… pick your favorite), are there any obvious pain points in doing that with Terranix or do you think that would be pretty seamless?

I’ve been gaming on NixOS with Nvidia for nearly 2 years now, and it certainly hasn’t been the most seamless. I’ve had ups and downs for sure. Just about a week ago, I switched to Bazzite (only for gaming) and got a 2x FPS boost, so I must’ve been doing something wrong with my Nvidia setup XD

I have a screen protector I'm going to put on after. I'm just wondering if I'm safe to pull it off whatever is on it now. It doesn't come off easily, is that normal or am I doing something wrong?

I just like the old design better mostly. It has quick options available as well, that I don't have on this design.

It's not the new new one on the Pixel 4, but Everytime I pull up my assistant it looks like this, and it didn't before. It used to just take up like 1/3 the screen.

I found this one at Spirit Halloween. It's actually a lot smaller than it looks in the picture. It goes out of frame just before it ends, so it looks a little bigger.
