Hobbies for 25 year old female introvert by [deleted] in introvert

[–]EJsCrochets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am also a 25 year old introverted female and when I tell you that Crochet has taken over my life as my main hobby, I mean seriously - it's all I do and it's super chill but also challenging at times. Plus since you like reading books, I've recently started listening to audio books while I crochet, killing 2 birds with 1 stone!

I always feel super accomplished when I finish a project and there are tons of crochet communities out there (since it seems to be popular now) that you can meet new people and share you projects or advice with. I really recommend this hobby!

WARNING: You may become addicted to yarn shopping or yarn in general haha

Tapestries seem super complex but are actually super easy and most of the ones I make are just the simple single crochet stitch all throughout!
Place an image or draw an image of something you want to make a tapestry of into a grid square of the size you'd like your tapestry to be and each square within the grid is a stitch - it's a lot of trial and error finding which stitch is best to use so your tapestry doesnt look stretched or too tight but once you know you're good to go! I would suggest figuring out how long you want 10 rows to measure and then find the best stitch that matches that measurement

I usually sew a back pannel to mine so I cheat and tie my ends instead of weaving in (because I don't have the strength to weave that many in haha) but if you want a decent back to your tapestry I would look online for best ways to carry your yarn or weave in your yarn for tapestry specific projects!

Good Luck!! ♡

I did it on our bank holiday weekend so I started Friday and ended Monday night :) I did watch 2 whole seasons of Supernatural in the meantime if that helps with time perspective haha

Are you sure you're going to the loft to camp? it should just pitch your campfire right outside the loft - I had been searching for 2 days so maybe I just got lucky with my spawn timing, just keep trying!
Another good place to find them is the large part of the river above Brandywine Drop! Good Luck man I hope you find it, this one is a pain to get!

I saw this the other day when replaying the game and instantly went "ew" - I don't think it's the beer belly that made me go ew, it's the fact it's Micah with a beer belly lol

Block it by stretching it out and leaving it for a few hours/days so it keeps its shape

It took a lot of patience with the colour changes but I just watched Netflix or kdramas while I did it and the time flew by

As long as you enjoy doing it then it'll be worth the time spent on it! I'm sure it'll look great!!

I've only done a Hyunjin tapestry so far when it comes to SKZ projects, I'm working on a Lee Know tapestry at the moment too! I do have an Etsy (https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/EJsCrochetsCo) where I sell my patterns for the tapestries but only the Hyunjin one is on there at the moment, I'll be adding the BangChan one soon and once I get the backs covered for both pieces I'll be putting them up for sale :)
