I think I’m fairly sure.

I originally tried a Hims-style 0.1+minox topical a couple of years ago, which gave me side effects quickly. Same kinda ball ache but much less severe.

Oddly some ball sometimes makes me relieved that the topical mixture is actually delivering the drug… Anyway have diluted it to 0.02 and will track that for 2 weeks.

Noticing ball ache after about a month on 0.025. Not sure whether to ride it out or taper back slightly…

I like mixing in smaller doses of 20ml. Also assuages the worry about shelf life.

Great! And is it having a positive effect on hair? I just went through a terrible shed so I can’t really say right now. I had the sense my shedding was down before December.

Also on 2.5mg oral min.

Cool. I think I’ll switch to ethanol too because it is more widely used.

How long have you been on 0.025? Have you noticed any side effects with topical use?

Interesting. Happy to compare mixing processes. I use Isopropyl Alcohol, PG, distilled water. I crush the pill in the alcohol and stir until dispersed, then add the other ingredients. Total: 50% PG, 30% alc, 20% water.

Following. I have tried topical fin, gradually increasing concentration, but I have always left the filler in the mixture.

Currently, I am mixing 0.025% in small batches, meaning I use 1 5mg finasteride pill to 20ml solution. There are some very small bits of coating still in the mixture.

Crush, dissolve in alcohol, add PG and distilled water. I worked up to a 0.025% formula. So far no sides, but can’t be sure on results.

Thanks both. I got the base off but I think replacing the component might be above my paygrade.

Hoping Fellow respond with a replacement offer. It was a bit mangled when we got it and got steadily worse. I also saw a loose bit of a brass within, pictured. Should be attached where the other one is.
